The 5am Hiking Club came into existence around October 2009, on a date that’s not specifically remembered due to the overwhelming excitement every Saturday morning at 5 o’clock. The name was coined by two friends, Oral Evanson and Connie Richmond, along with 8 other friends from APUA.
